How It Works
Whether you choose a private farewell or join a shared journey, every step is taken with care, respect, and a deep understanding of what this moment means to you.
1. Get in Touch
Reach out when you feel ready. We’ll talk about your wishes, your loved one, and what kind of farewell feels right. There’s no rush — this is a gentle process, and I’m here to help guide you through it.
2. Booking & Deposit
To secure your place, a deposit of £1000 is required. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the journey begins. I’ll be with you every step of the way to make sure everything is clear and easy.
3. Sending the Ashes
You’ll be guided on how to safely send your loved one’s ashes. If you're local, a personal handover can also be arranged. Everything is handled with respect and care from the moment they leave your hands.
4. The Journey to Japan
I personally travel with your loved one’s ashes — either for a dedicated private journey or as part of a shared farewell. They are never rushed, never part of a crowd, and always treated with the reverence they deserve.
5. The Scattering Ceremony
Your loved one will be set free in a place of natural beauty — a quiet forest, a peaceful shoreline, or even the summit of Mount Fuji, if that’s what you choose.
Some of these places are not easy to reach. They require real effort, strength, and time — but that’s part of what makes the journey so meaningful. These aren’t just symbolic gestures — they are powerful, real experiences made in honour of someone truly loved.
If you’d like, I’ll read your letter aloud at the moment of scattering, so your voice is part of their goodbye.
6. What You’ll Receive
After the farewell, I’ll send you:
- A Letter & Farewell Video (via secure digital download)
- A natural keepsake from the location
- Photos from the site, if weather and conditions allow
- A USB version of the video is available if you prefer something to hold
✨ Optional Extras:
Scattering Certificate with GPS Coordinates – £45
A printed certificate with the exact time and place your loved one was set free
USB Keepsake (Video) – £20
This isn’t just a service — it’s a promise to carry out something meaningful on your behalf, with heart, care, and deep respect.
